KIS for the S.

For Stupid Voters, Keep It Simple.

Orwell had it right. Police are not the pigs, they are the dogs. The pigs are the politicians and CEOs, intelligent but amoral, and they live only to fatten themselves. Remember the little pig Snowball, who tried to create public works to benefit all the animals? The pigs who traded the working horse Boxer for a box of jam had Snowball assassinated, called him a Jonesist, and then took credit for his ideas. They recognized most of the animals were not so smart, sheep, geese, and cattle, for whom the fine points of rhetoric went right over their heads, so they reduced every issue to a slogan. Today’s Republicans have done just that, and now have given us five such slogans which will answer any question that can be put to them. Here they are:
1. Drill, Baby, Drill.
2. Red, White, and Blue.
3. Jesus Christ.
4. Clinton’s penis.
5. Duuh, Pelosi.
“What must be done to save the economy?” Drill, Baby, Drill.
“How to save the failed education system?” Jesus Christ.
“What about corruption among Republicans?” Look at Clinton’s penis.
“What is wrong with all Democrat policy?” Duuh, Pelosi.
“Why continue the war against Islam?” JC, RWB, & DBD.
“How to lower the price of gas and football tickets?” DBD.
“What proves all Democrats are stupid socialists?” Duuh. You know who.
Go ahead, try it.

As Sheriff Joe says, "It's the Law."

Have you ever been grilled by a goon squad? Oh, I mean, “Have you ever been lawfully detained and questioned by a tactical unit of properly-uniformed and well-groomed peace officers acting in accordance with acknowledged public-safety modalities to obtain voluntary compliance while ensuring the safety of the officers?” No? Nor have I, but I suspect it might undermine my sense of patriotism and social cooperativeness in this land of freedom and human rights. If you happened to be shot in the process, do you suppose your survivors would be comforted to know it was done only with the greatest reluctance as a last resort in accordance with Statute 264-A1, in response to the shooter’s partner’s declaration that it appeared you were about to pull an AK-47 from your undershorts, and his dog alerted that he smelled Mexican funkle-spinach on your breath?

The Paycheck Fairness Act.

This is an act that is stated to collect the sex, race and national origin of employees working in the US to ensure 'fairness' in the paycheck. S182 is suppose to make pay equality for women better...on the initial glance this sounds great. But on second look, it stinks of a government control of business. It is currently "ILLEGAL", may I stress that again...."ILLEGAL" to ask the national origin of an individual - period. Check out Title VII. All that is required is that an individual is a US citizen or legal alien/resident. Race and Sex can requested only after hiring for use in the company's affirmative action programs, and the employee is entitled to deny and request that this information is not shared with any outside agency since it is voluntary. In fact many of the forms I signed in the business world states just that, "This information will not be shared to third parties". I refused to participate in many of these info gathering items in my company because after they took into account my age, sex, race and department all information gathered about my opinions led directly to me since I was the only one in my department matching the information requested.

This act does not seem to take into account that many businesses give woman maternity leave compensation which men do not receive. This would have to be added into the quotient, or the data for pay would be null & void. I would hope it would take into account identical positions and length of time in the company for pay purposes, education et al...but again, it comes down to this -that this information is not the government's business and to order a business to provide this information to the government - unless they are seeking a gov't minority owner contract with the government IMHO is illegal and unethical. I don't know...seems like the government's main purpose is suppose to be protection of our country and it's interests...not telling businesses, who they can hire and what they have to pay as long as it is minimum wage.

A.R.M. Our Mission

If you’re looking for ideas on how to change and fix the way things are in our
country – without having to join a political party of any kind – you’ve come to
the right place.

Here, you can learn how you can do things all on your own, and/or, how to
organize your very own grass-roots effort with friends, associates, and like
minded folks like yourself, for some really effective political action. Action that
could even have you end up in Congress as an agent for those “changes” we all
want!

The upcoming election in November is only three short months away. It’s a
golden opportunity for we, the taxpaying voters of this country, to try and grab
control of our government back from the career politicos who’ve been running
it into the ground, and get it back on the right track again.

It all comes down to this – either you continue to just sit around and bitch,
moan, and whine about how terrible things are – or, you get off your buns and
ACT to do something about them. It’s up to you!

So, go to -ABOUT ARM- and check it all out. It’s all laid out in detail for you.
From there, you can then browse over what our distinguished co-hosts have
written about many of the issues of concern to us all, enjoy some great original
music, and add your two-bits worth of “yowling” on our YOWLERS HALL
(without profanity or name calling please….this is a civil site after all).

ENJOY!

Statesmanship Or Just Another Vote?

There is (or ought to be) more to statesmanship than never-ending TV-tabloid smear-campaign elections.

Are you concerned about the upcoming elections in November, and in 2012? Does it matter to you that 49% of the Congress in America are NOT DOING THE JOB THEY WERE ELECTED TO DO, and instead are devoting 100% of their time and energy to getting themselves re-elected by kneejerk lockstep obstructionism and character assassination of the 51% trying to take care of this country's important business? Is there no point at which the voters recognize that holding the office is what is really important, and not just winning elections like TV contests based on insults, patriotic platitudes, and braggadocio?

Or do you think since the GOP always votes as a bloc these days, it really doesn't matter at all what a Republican personally knows or believes, as long as she raises her hand when Mr. Boehner does?

Ask A General? Get A War.

Ask A General? Get A War.

Sometimes things seem oddly simplistic to me that appear to go right over everybody else's head. Try this one: If you have a problem, and you take it to an architect, he will design you a building. If you take the problem to a doctor, he will write you a prescription; to a warden, he will improve security. There is a broad presumption that in matters of foreign affairs, particularly with nations hostile to us, the military assessment of the situation should prevail. If you take your problem to a general, he will recommend you start a war, and tell you how to run it. If entering a war was ill-advised in the beginning, then to make talk of leaving it into heresy, defeatism, or treason is doubly foolish. Now we hear them saying after eight years of George Bush's accomplishments in Afghanistan, we are losing Obama's War.

Do You Defend The Constitution?

Do You Defend the Constitution? Even Against Christians?

About that Constitution some claim to love so fundamentally, and call on our leaders to respect and obey. America is NOT a Christian nation. It was very deliberately and wisely created as a secular nation, Newt notwithstanding. My copy of the First Amendment says, "...no law respecting an establishment of religion...." That is, the law may not be used to promote the dogma or doctrine of any establishment of religion, including any and all sects of Christianity. It also says, "....nor prohibiting the free practice thereof..." That is, even religions which Christians hate cannot be prohibited or persecuted by law, even if some individuals among them perform anti-American acts. There is no question about the Constitutionality of this, whether we like it or not. The right of Muslims to erect a Mosque near or on the WTC site is clearly protected, whether foolish or not.

If 9/11 had been perpetrated by a small group of fanatical renegade Zionist Jews, (like the Al Qaida Muslims) would it then be all right for the USA to carpet bomb Israel, or to deny the right to build synagogues in America, or to start identifying all the Jews and refusing them airline tickets?

The few Muslim Americans I know are exceptionally patriotic, though struggling today with being demonized and their children abused in public and in school. If the Bible-whacking Jingoists treat them badly enough to turn them against us, whose fault is that? After turning the 40 million Mexicans and Mexican-Americans who are already in this country into our nation's angry enemies, do we really need another internal enemy who used to be our friend?

The basic error in the Holy Wars lies in the most fundamental principles which are at the root of all of the factions of the religions based on the occult idol known as The God Of Abraham. The three major factions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, are each now nuclear armed and prepared to destroy the world to prove their version of the absurd soap-opera of Eden is more true than the others, and God will give what is left of the world to them alone. If you really care about God, the Earth, the United States Of America, or the human race, you might take a second look at that story.
